The Tunnel kiln is flat celling type.

Tunnel kiln has automatic coal powder adding system, smoke-releasing system,exhausting system under the kiln cart, cooling system under the kiln cart, gas burning system, waste-heat system, rapid cooling system and back pressure system(pressure balancing system).Baking curve inside of the kiln will be more reasonable through the adjustment of these systems.

There are 3 doors at both ends of the tunnel kiln. At the entrance side, there is a preparatory room, and a cut-off door between the preparatory room and the kiln joint zone. Thus it effectively avoid entering the cold air and ensure the baking system of the kiln.

Structure

Tunnel kiln mainly includes the following: kiln body, kiln conveying equipment, fuel combustion system, ventilation equipment.
Kiln body: the main part of the tunnel kiln system, there are various air inlets and outlets on the kiln body.
Conveying equipment in the kiln: kiln car and kiln furniture.
Fuel combustion system: including fuel delivery pipeline, fuel preheating, burner, etc. The heating and combustion of the tunnel kiln is mainly heavy oil, light diesel oil, and natural gas gas, and the original direct-burning coal method is not used much. Oil burners are equipped with oil storage tanks and burner nozzles. Due to the high cost of oil, natural gas and coal gas are still used more. Natural gas is transported to the kiln through natural gas pipelines and has a special natural gas burner for jet combustion. In addition to the dedicated gas pipeline for gas combustion, most of the tunnel kiln users have their own gas generators for gas production. Nozzle for jet combustion.
Ventilation equipment: including smoke exhaust system, air curtain stirring system and cooling system. Its function is to make the airflow in the kiln flow in a certain direction.

Working principle

A tunnel kiln is generally a long linear tunnel with fixed walls and vaults on both sides and at the top, and a kiln car runs on the track laid at the bottom. The combustion equipment is located on both sides of the middle of the tunnel kiln, forming a fixed high temperature zone - the firing zone. The high temperature flue gas generated by the combustion flows along the tunnel to the kiln head under the action of the chimney or induced draft fan at the front end of the tunnel kiln. At the same time, the products entering the kiln are gradually preheated, and this section constitutes the preheating zone of the tunnel kiln. Cold air is blown into the kiln tail of the tunnel kiln to cool the products in the latter section of the tunnel kiln. After the blown cold air flows through the products and is heated, it is drawn out and sent to the dryer as a heat source for drying green bodies. This section constitutes the tunnel. The cooling zone of the kiln.
Place the saggar loaded with ceramic products on the trolley, and slowly push it in continuously from the inlet of the preheating zone (usually mechanically push in), while the trolley loaded with the fired products is gradually pushed in from the outlet of the cooling zone. Was pushed out (about 1 hour or so, pushed out a car).
